My Story

Welcome! (2).png
My Life

I live on the stunningly beautiful island of Bermuda with my handsome hubby, Steven,
and our 3 amazing kiddos.

As I write this + reflect on my life I notice all ways that my path has lead me to where I am today, from my first job in a local gym to the ultimate life role of becoming a Mother. My role as a Mother has not been as easy as I had imagined it would be before having kids. I battled the overwhelm + desire to find my own happiness and fulfillment in order for me to be better caregiver to my children.

After having my 2nd child, I knew that I needed to focus on my health like never before + start nurturing myself just as much as I would nurture them. I knew then that I had to make changes to my life that would be continuous + ever expanding. This realization lead me to not only want to better myself but to also assist other Mommas that possibly feel as stuck as I did then.

My Career

My first job was working in a local gym. I learned a lot about health + fitness through the staff that I worked with. This sparked my interest in self health care.

At the age of 17, I attended the Yorkshire College of Beauty Therapy (in Leeds, England) where I continued to learn about health through my Beauty Therapy training + Aromatherapy training. Qualifying with I.T.EC, C.I.B.T.A.C + C.I.D.E.S.C.O

I have worked with plant + aromatherapy based product lines throughout my beauty career + dove into holistic, ayurvedic + energy therapies.

I am a certified reiki practitioner.

In early 2017, I certified as a Health Coach  + later that same year I was introduced to doTERRA.

I instantly knew that doTERRA was a brand that I wanted to use to help support me + my family.

And a brand that I wanted to partner with.

a message from my heart

I believe that I have been lead down this path of holistic health so that I can serve others.  I believe that our experiences help us to grow + by sharing them with the world we can help to make a difference, even to just one person.

I can recall a conversation with my parents when I was a young child,  about the harmful effects of smoking, that is as clear as if it had just happened this morning.
Well, to be honest, I don't remember how the whole conversation went but one thing my Mom said has stuck with me throughout my life.

Her words were something very close to,
"We can not tell you to never do something that we disapprove of when you are older but just know that if you ever choose to smoke, that would be the ultimate disrespect to your own body and to your dad, considering that he has never had the privilege of having healthy lungs like you have."

You see, my dad was born with a condition called Bronchiectasis. As an infant, he had the lower lobe of his left lung removed and spent most of his childhood in hospitals because of his condition that still created infection in his remaining lung.

Determined as hell, my dad built up his lung capacity so that he could play football, run marathons + compete in so many other sports with no one knowing his physical disadvantage.

In 2009, my dad had his first battle with throat cancer.
It was a brutal battle but he got through it, forever changed.

And exactly 10 years later, in 2019, the cancer returned, again in this throat. The same treatments would not work this time around because they were so aggressive + damaging to the healthy tissue the first time.

My heart broke the day my dad left this earth.

I feel that the will + determination that he had throughout his life to fight every battle he came across with this health, now resides within me to be an advocate for what health truly is.

Our bodies + its good health is a gift that should not be taken for granted.
True health is to treat our bodies with the respect it deserves + to listen to the signals are bodies give us when things aren't going right.
Always remember to show gratitude for what our bodies are able to do.
Someone else may have  more gratitude for less than you have.

My parents taught me that + I am teaching my children the same.

Here are a few of my

personal health paradigms:

  • Healthcare starts at home! Living a healthy life is a crucial part of your healthcare, whether you are in good health or not.

  • Being healthy doesn’t have to be hard or difficult and you don’t have to be an athlete or have model type figure to be healthy. All you need is to allow your body to achieve optimal health by supplying your body with what it needs to thrive + to detoxify harmful toxins, chemicals and pollutants.

  • I’m a true believer that our bodies are magnificent masterpieces - ones that are made to heal themselves and work in perfect harmony.

However, if we take a look around, there are more of us facing multiple health issues + debilitating or life threatening diseases rather than having a ‘clean bill of health’. “Why is that?”, you may wonder.

Sadly, we live in a toxic chemical laden world. Harmful chemicals and toxins are in practically everything we see, smell, touch and taste, from our food to our household cleaning products to our beauty products to the materials we have in our homes.

  • I also believe that making small + consistent shifts in the foods we eat, the products we use and other lifestyle choices, we can significantly aid our bodies in prevention of unnecessary illness  and/ or assist in the healing process.

  • Living in more awareness is key to our vitality . The more curious we get, the more knowledge we seek, the more questions we ask, the more we can evaluate what is for our highest good vs. what is not... then it becomes easier make wiser choices that become the foundation of our holistic health.

  • I believe that we have the ability to learn so much with all the information that is readily available but it won't do us much good unless we USE that knowledge. Action is what makes the knowledge powerful.

Knowledge is only powerful

when we use it!
